He has been intimately involved in the development of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), including its latest chapter on SOA. Ed is an active participant in The Open Group's SOA and Cloud Work Groups. He is a primary author of the "Technical Guide: Using TOGAF to Define & Govern Service-Oriented Architectures" as well as "An Ontology for SOA". He is also a major contributor to the "Cloud Computing Explained" white paper. Ed is a frequent speaker and has represented various organisations in the development of standards.
