Graham Berrisford

Global IT Architecture ExperienceGraham Berrisford

Graham has worked for over 25 years in the IT industry, in a variety of roles - programming, analysis architecture, management and consulting. He has a broad knowledge of architecture methodology - from software architecture through solution architecture to enterprise architecture - and a long experience of training. He taught ground-breaking systems analysis and design techniques as long ago as 1980. He was a leader in showing how to build entity-event models and implement them using a 3-layer software architecture, and published a book on this in 1994. He then worked for a CASE tool company as a consultant in methodologies for building software applications. More recently, over a period of eight years, he led the development of methods, standards and training for the architects of a major systems integrator.

Education and diversity

Graham lives with his wife and two sons in south-west London. Recently, his knees told him to retire from playing soccer and badminton. He hopes a return to playing keyboard and guitar won't cause his fingers to give him the same message.
