Chris Blake
Extensive business experience and contributions to TOGAF
Christopher has been involved in IT and Management Consultancy for over 30 years and is a leading exponent of the principles-based architectural approach to delivering system strategies, architectures, governance environments and business change to a wide range of organisations in most sectors of business.
During a long career he has worked for many major IT companies and founded a successful consultancy. His last major role was as Managing Consultant/Business Line Leader for Governance and Architecture with QA plc Technical Architecture Consulting Division.
Currently he is Principal Mentor of Architecting the Enterprise Ltd, involved in the assessment of all Architecting the Enterprise clients who are seeking TOGAF accreditation.
Christopher has been an active member of the Open Group's Architecture Forum since 2002. He provided major contributions to the development of TOGAF 8 and is now part of the TOGAF 9 Work Group.
In 2009 he was received an outstanding contribution award for his work on TOGAF from the Open Group.
He has been a regular speaker at Open Group conferences; Boston (2002), Washington (2003), Brussels (2004), San Francisco, Dublin (2005) and London (2009). His topics have included "Value Based Enterprise Architecture" and "Architecture Governance."
