Dave Gilmour
Extensive business experience
With more than thirty years in the high-technology sector, David has broad experience in both technical and commercial roles. He has worked for and with global companies in the IT, logistics, FMCG, banking/ insurance, garment and oil sectors.
David has spent most of his time working for these global companies outside of the UK.
He has directed very large programmes of work from both client and supplier sides, operating at board/ministry level.
Thus his knowledge of Governance Processes in many cultures and legal regimes is deep and broad, as is his understanding of how these interact at the practical level.
Because much of David 's working life has been spent in the Operational Processes field, he has seen and experienced many successes and failures, all of which mean that he has a pragmatic and practical understanding of required Business Architectures, Change Processes with their day-to-day management and upkeep.
For this reason he is often called to speak at major international conferences such as the opening session of the Asian CEOs Conference.
His current research interest is in the effects of conflicting regulatory requirements on international business costs.

David studied Dyestuffs Chemistry at Leeds University followed by formal training in Accountancy, Taxation, Computing and Management.
He is involved in the standards setting bodies and co-author of papers on Outsourcing Governance.
He does occasional high-level training in addition to his normal consultancy roles.
David relaxes by walking in the hills and fishing.
