Steve Else

Global IT Architecture Experience

A practicing senior enterprise architect and systems engineer in the public and private sector for several years, Dr. Steve Else brings a wealth of practical experience to his TOGAF Certification Training. Besides being certified in TOGAF 8, he is also a Certified Enterprise Architect in Federal Enterprise Architecture and a Project Management Professional (R) who has taught Project and Change Management for years at the University of Denver at the graduate level. Also a Master Certified Knowledge Manager, Dr. Else wrote his doctoral thesis on "The Transformation of Large, Complex Organizations" and is the editor of The EA Zone Journal and The Government Transformation Journal.

Dr. Else is the CEO of The Center for Public-Private Enterprise, a non-profit organization he founded in 1998 and whose purpose is to help cross-polinate best business and technology practices and innovation across the government and between the government and the private sector, non-profits, etc.

Education and diversity

Steve is married and has 4 daughters, speaks French and German fluently and is a passionate participant in EA and IT conferences, having attended hundreds over the past 10 years.
